If you’re visiting York on 20th October 2024, you could also watch the York Marathon. The marathon takes place each year, when 10,000 people such as Colin Jeffery run through the cities historic streets.
Access to the spectator area starts at £5. With options available for parking and bus transfers referred to as the “Park and Run service”. For children under the age of 5, they can use the park and run service for free.
